DIY Glow In The Dark Bowling!!

Looks weird right? That's because it is glow in the dark bowling! The picture is a little dark because the finalized part of the project which was to bowl took place outside. This was a pretty cool project I did with my family that not only was super easy to make but super fun to play with as well.

I got these glow sticks at Michaels for 19 cents each! I suggest if you are going to do a 6 "pin" game buy two glow sticks per bottle this way the bottles will be lit even more for play time.

The size or shape of the bottles does not matter it actually makes the game more fun. Have the kids look for all the bottles they can find around the house as I had my niece do and this is what she came up with.
Next pop those glow sticks!! It's so much fun to see the crystals start glowing. After all of them are popped open put them in the bottles and fill the bottles with water to give them weight when they are on the floor or grass and the water makes the light from the glow stick shine brighter!
Once your are done get your bowling on. We used a plastic ball and had so much fun taking turns knocking the glow in the dark "pins" down. My niece said this was one of her favorite projects. Try this with your family and comment to let me know how it went!

“This is part of what a family is about, not just love. It's knowing that your family will be there watching out for you. Nothing else will give you that. Not money. Not fame. Not work.”
