Halloween Pumpkin Carving DIY!!

At home pumpkin carving is probably one of the oldest Halloween traditions. Yet, many people do not know how to correctly carve a pumpkin so they just go to stores like Michaels which offers the service and have their pumpkins carved for them. As hard as this looks it was pretty easy and my family had a blast doing it.

First you cut a circle on the top of the pumpkin and lift it do not throw this part away as you will be putting it back on the pumpkin when you are finished.
Next you gut the pumpkin make sure you get all of the guts out because you do not want animals all over the lovely pumpkin you carved.
The tools here you can buy at any craft store which help you guy and cut the pumpkin just the way you like it. This is my nieces pumpkin she wanted Puss in Boots.
Here is my niece next to the design she wanted. Icarved the pumpkin for her as I did not want her getting cut.
Grab a candle set it in your pumpkin and it will look a little something like this!
Enjoy and send me those pictures of your adorable pumpkins!
